In Portland, Oregon August 2017, Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers was presented with the prestigious Kingdom Congressional International Alliance 2017 Ambassador of the Year Award.

The Body of Leaders for Kingdom Congressional International Alliance (KCIA) observed and assessed the global work of Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers as a leading World Peace Ambassador. Ambassador Rivers is working in the nations to bring the Golden Rule to help mankind and leaders of nations. He looks around the world to find and establish the value of human life and find those living, “Treating others the way they want to be treated.” He is building Cultures of Honor globally. The Kingdom Congressional International Alliance (KCIA) has bestowed upon Ambassador Rivers this award for his great works aiding the world in how to view people from the proper perspective and bring honor.

His Excellency Ambassador Clyde Rivers is an extraordinary leader of nations who believes in honoring others and to establish cultures of peace internationally by bringing back the lost art of honor. He is the Ambassador at Large for the Republic of Burundi. He is also Co-Chairman of the Congressional Prayer Conference of Washington, DC. He has also been appointed as a Representative of Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative to the United Nations office in New York and the African Union, as well as a World Peace Ambassador for the Golden Rule International. He is also the Chief Chancellor of Education for United Graduate College and Seminary International.

Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers is a great man of honor, integrity, and character who exemplifies the Golden Rule and is an inspiration to all of us by inspiring us to be the very best. As a trained ICN Statesman, I was given the distinguished privilege to go to Grenada in February 2016 along with Dr. Charles Karuku to honor Senator Winston Garraway. We also met with Dr. Right Honorable Prime Minister Keith Mitchell of Grenada, Hon. Senator Winston Garraway, distinguished members of the Government, influential leaders and given the opportunity to speak to the great people of Grenada.

On behalf of Ambassador Clyde Rivers, we honored Senator Dr. Winston Garraway with the prestigious Honorary Doctorate of Humanities from the United Graduate College and Seminary International. He was also honored with the prestigious Golden Rule International Award and designated as a Golden Rule Goodwill Peace Ambassador.  It surely was an impactive trip to Grenada. Dr. Karuku and I left Grenada making a positive difference, creating a culture of honor in Grenada and representing Ambassador Clyde Rivers and IChange Nations™ well.

It surely is an honor to be a part of IChange Nations™ and to touch nations and impact lives by bringing back the lost art of honor. Also teaching others how to effectively communicate, build healthy relationships and create cultures of honor through teaching, living and practicing the Golden Rule ethic.

This February at Delaware State University, Dr. Clyde Rivers led a global forum to help facilitate the change of dialogue regarding the New Africa. Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers Founder and President of IChange Nations™ launched Honor Africa in Uganda and Kenya early in 2016. He feels it’s very important to change the conversation over Africa. Rivers said, “As the world knows, Africa is a prosperous continent with its minerals and resources. What I see as one of its most important resource are its people. There is a New Africa on the horizon and we want to honor Africa and those that acknowledge the precious resource of people around the world. It was outstanding participating in this forum at this prestigious and rich in history, Delaware State University.”

On Saturday, June 6, 2015 in Victorville California Ambassador Clyde Rivers spoke at the graduation ceremony of Fuerza y Honor International. Dr. Jenny Lopez, Founder and President of Fuerza y Honor International hosted the graduation.

Ambassador Rivers spoke on the importance of completing tasks. He said, “When you complete an assignment doors open for other opportunities.” Rivers went on to stress, “The importance of training is that nations are looking for qualified equipped workers that can solve problems. It is important to understand the purpose of your trials, hardships as you work to accomplish your goals. Challenges make you greater.”

It was a great event and the students were empowered and encouraged. Congratulations to all the fine graduates.

CHARLES HUGHES RECOGNIZED GLOBALLY FOR HIS SERVICE TO EMPOWER COMMUNITIES

Charles Hughes is the Executive Director of the Gary, Indiana Chamber of Commerce. His life of service to the City of Gary, Indiana has brought global recognition. Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers, the Director of the North American Division of the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative and the Golden Rule International Award presented Charles Hughes with the prestigious Golden Rule International Award. He was appointed as a Goodwill Peace Ambassador for Golden Rule International at a ceremony held on April 17, 2015 at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library, Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Charles Hughes serves his community at multiple levels. As a fireman for 34 years, reaching the rank of Battalion Chief, he has been recognized for creating a strong relationship between the department and the community. Mr. Hughes also served for 16 years as a member of the Gary, Indiana City Council, with two of his terms served as the President of the Council. His success also enabled him to serve as the Education Chairman for the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns. Hughes continued his dedication to service as the Chairman of the Committee of National League of Cities, Public Safety and Crime Prevention. Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers said, “These accomplishments prove to the world that he is qualified to serve as a Goodwill Peace Ambassador for the Golden Rule and the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative. We are honored to have Charles Hughes serve with us globally.”

Thomas Brown Christian College has followed the work of Dr. Clyde Rivers this year as he worked establishing the Golden Rule International Award, a highly ethical global award that honors people whose lives exemplify honoring others. The Golden Rule ethic is “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” The President of Thomas Brown Christian College, Dr. Omega Brown, was very please to congratulate Dr. Rivers on his fine work around the world. Mario Murillo Receives Honorary Doctorate Degree From Latin University of Theology

Latin University of Theology’s International Commissioner, Dr. Clyde Rivers, was in San Jose California on June 8^th, 2014 to present Mario Murillo with an Honorary Doctorate in Theology. This historical event took place at the Star of David Ministry with the overseers Dr. Sonny and Linda Lara in attendance.

Dr. Rivers told the audience that, “Mario Murillo is a true pioneer of the faith. We are proud, at Latin University of Theology, to confer upon Mario Murillo the Honorary Doctorate of Theology for his labor in the Word of God as an evangelist.” Dr. Rivers went on to say, “Bringing back the lost art of honor is a critical element that we must implement in the body of Christ. We must recognize those that have gone before us. So it gives me great privilege to honor Dr. Mario Murillo for his labors of love for mankind.”
